For about the last month the water level has been about three feet higher than normal for this time of the year. We have been going into backwaters that are not usually able to get to at this time of the year. This is in an area of the river that is travelled by very few. The scenery is particularly breathtaking. The water levels are starting to go back to more normal levels. Shortly we will not be able to get back in these waters. So come share this part of the river while it is available to us.

On March 22, 23 and 24th the production crew for the television show ‘Ghost Trackers” were here at the Swamp House Grill Restaurant investigating paranormal activity. Watch them in the upcoming episode as they arrived aboard our little boat the ‘Nixie’.

The Naiad was delivered on January 7th! But because of the cold weather and rain here in central Florida, cruising has been a little chilly.
The frigid weather brought the record number of manatees to Blue Spring (just up the river from us)—311.
